Account Registration

Eligibility and Age Verification

  • Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old to register and use the Services. The Operator performs age and identity verification checks in accordance with Great Britain Gambling Commission ("UKGC") requirements.
  • Location restrictions: The Services are intended only for residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). Residents of Northern Ireland and persons outside Great Britain are not permitted to open an account or place bets on the Sports Betting offering via bettingspo.com.
  • Single account rule: You may hold only one account with the Operator for the Sports Betting brand. Duplicate accounts may be closed, and associated balances may be handled in accordance with these Terms and applicable regulations.

Registration Process and KYC

  • Account creation: To open an account, you must complete the online registration form on bettingspo.com accurately and in full, including your legal name, date of birth, residential address in Great Britain and any other requested details.
  • Email verification: You may be required to verify your email address and/or mobile number before the account becomes fully active. The Operator may refuse or suspend an account if verification steps are not completed.
  • KYC documentation: In line with anti-money laundering and UKGC requirements, the Operator may request identity and address documents (for example, passport or ID card, proof of address, proof of payment method ownership). You must supply such documents promptly, in legible form and from legitimate sources.
  • Source of funds: Where reasonably required for regulatory or risk-management purposes, you may be asked to provide information and evidence relating to your source of funds or source of wealth. Failure to co-operate may result in account restrictions or closure.

User Obligations and Account Security

  • Accuracy of information: You confirm that all information supplied during registration and throughout your relationship with the Operator is true, accurate and complete. You must inform the Operator promptly of any change, such as address or contact details.
  • Password and access: You must keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party. Any activity carried out through your credentials will, unless the Operator is at fault, be treated as having been carried out by you.
  • Third-party access: You must not permit any other person to use your account. It is prohibited to allow minors or any self-excluded or otherwise restricted individuals to access the Services via your account or devices.
  • Account review: The Operator may review, suspend or close accounts where required for regulatory compliance, responsible gambling, fraud prevention, AML/CFT purposes or other legitimate business reasons, acting in accordance with UK law and UKGC requirements.
  • Gamstop and self-exclusion: As a licensed Great Britain operator, Sports Betting via bettingspo.com participates in the national self-exclusion scheme for remote gambling. If you register with GAMSTOP or use any self-exclusion tools offered on the Website, you must not attempt to circumvent such measures, and the Operator will apply appropriate blocks in line with its regulatory obligations.

Betting & Gameplay Rules

General Betting Conditions

  • Offer of bets: The Website displays markets, odds and limits for sports, virtual and other events. The Operator may refuse, limit or accept bets at its discretion, subject to applicable law and any published house rules.
  • Placing a bet: A bet is deemed placed when you confirm your selection(s) and stake on the bet slip and receive an on-screen confirmation or bet ID from the system. It is your responsibility to check that all details are correct before confirming.
  • Minimum and maximum stakes: Minimum and maximum stakes or payouts may apply per market, event or account. These limits may be displayed on the Website or applied automatically by the system. The Operator may adjust limits at any time, including for risk management reasons.
  • Odds changes: For pre-match and in-play betting, odds may change at any time. A bet will be settled at the odds confirmed at the time your bet was accepted by the Operator's systems, even if odds subsequently move.

Bet Acceptance, Cancellation and Settlement

  • Bet acceptance: A bet is accepted only when it has been recorded in the Operator's systems. If there is any dispute as to whether a bet has been accepted, the Operator's records, in accordance with its UKGC-approved controls, will be decisive, subject to your statutory rights.
  • Errors and palpable mistakes: If a bet is accepted at odds, line or terms that are clearly incorrect or the result of an obvious technical or human error ("palpable error"), the Operator may void the bet or settle it at the correct terms that should reasonably have applied, acting fairly and in accordance with UK consumer protection standards.
  • Event settlement: Bets are settled based on the official result declared by the relevant sports governing body or event organiser, subject to the specific rules for that sport or market as published on the Website.
  • Void bets: Bets may be voided in full or in part where events are postponed, abandoned or cancelled, or where market-specific rules so provide. In such cases, the original stake on the affected selection will normally be returned to your Real Money Balance.
  • Cash out: Where a "cash out" feature is offered, any use of that feature will be governed by the rules stated on the Website, including the fact that cash-out values are not guaranteed until confirmed and may be affected by live market changes and technical availability.

Gameplay, Conduct and Live Services

  • Fair and lawful use: You must use the Services solely for personal entertainment and not for any commercial or unlawful purpose. Use of scripts, bots, automated tools, arbitrage exploitation beyond fair use, or collusion with other players is prohibited.
  • Live betting and streams: For in-play betting, any live scores, statistics or streaming provided are for guidance only. There may be delays, and you must not rely on such feeds as perfectly real time. The Operator is not liable for any losses arising from such delays, subject to mandatory legal protections.
  • Live casino and chat conduct: If live casino games, live chat or community features are offered, you must behave respectfully and must not use offensive, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate language. Harassment, promotion of illegal activity, spamming and advertising of other services are strictly prohibited.
  • Fraud and collusion: Any suspicion of fraud, money laundering, match-fixing, use of inside information, bonus abuse or collusion may lead to investigation, suspension or closure of your account, reporting to regulators and law enforcement, and withholding of funds where permitted by law.

Bonus Terms

General Principles

  • Separate promotional terms: Each Bonus, free bet, free spin or other promotion offered on the Sports Betting pages of bettingspo.com is governed by specific promotional terms, which are in addition to these Terms. In case of conflict, the promotional terms prevail for that offer, to the extent permitted by law.
  • Eligibility: Eligibility for promotions may be restricted to particular Players, segments, territories within Great Britain, or account statuses (for example, new customers or specific campaigns). The Operator may exclude, limit or revoke bonuses where there is evidence of abuse or non-compliant behaviour.
  • Transparency: The Operator endeavours to present clear, prominent key terms for each promotion, including any wagering requirement, expiry period, minimum odds, stake limitations, game weighting and maximum winnings or conversion caps in line with UKGC and UK advertising standards as at 2025.

Activation, Wagering and Use of Bonuses

  • Activation conditions: A Bonus may require a qualifying deposit, bet or opt-in via a promo code or specific button. Unless otherwise stated, only deposits made with eligible payment methods will qualify.
  • Wagering requirements: Where a Bonus or winnings from a Bonus are subject to wagering requirements, you must place bets or wagers totalling a specified multiple of the Bonus amount, deposit amount or both before those funds or related winnings become withdrawable. The exact multiple, qualifying markets, minimum odds and game weightings are described in the relevant promotion.
  • Game and market restrictions: Certain games, bet types or products may be excluded from contributing to wagering requirements or may contribute at a reduced rate. For example, some low-risk bets, opposite bets on the same event, or certain casino games may either not count or count only partially.
  • Time limits: Bonuses may have an expiry period (for example, a set number of days from crediting or from first use). If wagering is not completed within the stated timeframe, Bonus funds and any associated winnings may be forfeited in accordance with the promotional terms and consumer protection law.

Prohibited Behaviour and Combining Promotions

  • Bonus abuse: Practices such as using multiple accounts, colluding with others, creating artificial betting patterns, or exploiting obvious errors or loopholes in promotions to secure guaranteed profits may be treated as Bonus abuse. The Operator may withhold or remove Bonuses and associated winnings in such cases, acting fairly and proportionately.
  • Payment method restrictions: The Operator may exclude deposits from certain payment methods from qualifying for Bonuses where necessary to manage risk or comply with regulatory guidance. Any such restrictions will be stated in the promotional terms.
  • Combining offers: Unless expressly permitted, Bonuses and promotions cannot be combined. Where multiple offers could apply to the same transaction, the Operator will apply promotions in the order specified on the Website or restrict participation so that only one applies at a time.
  • Real and Bonus funds: The order in which Real Money Balance and Bonus Balance are used for bets or wagers will be set out in the promotional or general bonus rules. Typically, real funds are used first, but the precise order will be clearly described on the Website.

Payments & Withdrawals

Deposits

  • Permitted methods: The Operator may make available a range of deposit methods appropriate for Great Britain customers, which may include debit cards, certain e-wallets, bank transfers and, where clearly indicated from time to time, approved digital or virtual currencies. Credit cards are not accepted from Great Britain customers in line with UK regulatory requirements.
  • Ownership of payment instruments: You may only deposit using payment methods that are registered in your own name. The Operator may request evidence of ownership and may reject or reverse deposits made in breach of this requirement.
  • Deposit limits: Minimum and maximum deposit amounts may apply per transaction or per period. You may also set your own deposit limits using the responsible gambling tools available on the Website, which the Operator will apply in accordance with UKGC obligations.
  • Fees: The Operator aims to disclose any deposit-related fees clearly before you confirm a transaction. Third-party providers (such as banks, e-wallets or cryptocurrency exchanges) may apply their own charges, which are outside the Operator's control.

Withdrawals

  • Withdrawal methods: Withdrawals will generally be processed to the same payment method used for deposit, where technically and legally possible. Where this is not feasible, the Operator may offer alternative methods consistent with its AML and fraud-prevention obligations.
  • Verification and checks: The Operator may conduct additional identity, affordability, AML or security checks before processing withdrawals, particularly where cumulative withdrawals are significant or where there are unusual patterns. This may affect processing times but will be carried out as promptly as reasonably possible.
  • Processing times: Indicative processing times for each withdrawal method will be stated on the Website. The Operator will use reasonable endeavours to process withdrawals within these periods, but delays may occur due to third-party providers, compliance checks or technical issues.
  • Limits: Minimum and maximum withdrawal limits may apply per transaction or per period. The Operator may also impose specific limits where necessary for regulatory, risk or security reasons, acting in accordance with UK law and guidance.

Refunds, Chargebacks and Treatment of Funds

  • Refunds of bets and Bonuses: Stakes may be returned (for example, where a market is voided) as described in the Betting & Gameplay Rules. Bonus funds are not normally refundable as cash; instead, they may be cancelled or forfeited in line with applicable promotional terms.
  • Chargebacks and reversals: If a chargeback, reversal or dispute is initiated on a deposit transaction, the Operator may suspend or close your account, cancel bets and Bonuses and recover any amounts improperly withdrawn, as permitted by law and these Terms.
  • Segregation of funds: Player funds are held in accordance with the level of protection stated on the Website for Great Britain customers, reflecting the UKGC's customer funds protection categorisation as at 2025. Details of this categorisation are available on the Website and on the UKGC register entry for licence number 000-12345-R-678910-012.

Limitation of Liability

Operator Responsibilities

  • Fair operation: The Operator is committed to providing its Services in a fair and transparent manner, in accordance with its UKGC licence conditions, the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice, and other applicable UK laws and regulations as at 2025.
  • Accuracy of markets and results: The Operator will use reasonable care to ensure that markets, odds, results and account balances are recorded and updated correctly, subject to the specific rules governing palpable errors and settlement as described in these Terms.
  • Security and integrity: Reasonable technical and organisational measures are employed to protect your data and funds and to ensure the integrity of betting and gaming systems, in line with industry standards and regulatory expectations.

Exclusions and Limitations

  • Service interruptions: The Operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from interruptions, delays, failures or defects in telecommunications, internet connectivity, hardware, software or third-party systems, provided it has acted with reasonable care and the issue is beyond its reasonable control.
  • Technical errors: In the event of a system malfunction, obvious error, bug, misconfiguration or outage that affects bet placement, settlement, display of odds or account balances, the Operator may void affected bets, adjust balances and take other reasonable corrective action, acting fairly and in compliance with consumer protection standards.
  • Indirect losses: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Website or Services.
  • Maximum liability: Subject to mandatory legal protections and non-excludable liabilities, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim relating to a particular bet, wager or transaction will not exceed the amount of the relevant stake or, where funds have been incorrectly credited, the amount that was incorrectly credited.
  • Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership of Content and Software

  • Proprietary rights: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, user interfaces, software, databases, trade names, trade marks (including the Sports Betting brand as used on bettingspo.com), audio-visual content and other materials, are owned by the Operator or its licensors.
  • Licence to use: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and Services for lawful, private entertainment purposes only, in accordance with these Terms.

Restrictions on Use

  • Prohibited acts: You may not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, distribute, transmit, display, perform, licence, sell, exploit or otherwise use any part of the Website content or software except as expressly permitted by these Terms or as allowed by mandatory law.
  • No unauthorised use of marks: You may not use the Sports Betting name, the Sports Betting project designation, the bettingspo.com domain, or any related trade marks or logos in any manner that could cause confusion or imply endorsement, unless you have the Operator's prior written consent.
  • Third-party content: Certain content, including game software or live streams, may be provided by third-party suppliers. You must comply with any additional restrictions notified in respect of such content, and all rights remain with the respective owners.

Privacy & Data Protection

  • Privacy policy: Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Operator's privacy policy applicable to Great Britain customers, as referenced on bettingspo.com as of 2025. That policy explains in detail how your information is used, the lawful bases for processing and your rights under applicable data protection law.
  • Regulatory reporting: The Operator may process and share your data with regulators, law enforcement agencies, payment providers, responsible gambling bodies and the ADR provider IBAS, where necessary for compliance with legal obligations, licence conditions, AML/CTF requirements, safer gambling initiatives and dispute resolution.
  • Data accuracy and security: You must ensure that your personal data remains accurate and up to date. The Operator uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, consistent with industry standards and legal requirements.

Changes to Terms

  • Right to amend: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law or regulation, updates to its UKGC licence conditions, adjustments to the Services, or improvements to consumer protection measures, including those specific to Great Britain.
  • Notification of changes: Material changes will, where reasonably practicable, be notified to you in advance by means such as on-site banners, pop-up messages, or direct communications (for example, email or account notifications) to the contact details associated with your account.
  • Acceptance of updates: Continued use of the Website or Services after changes have taken effect will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to any updated Terms, you must stop using the Services and may request account closure in accordance with these Terms.
  • Version control: The current version and effective date of these Terms, including for the Sports Betting offering via bettingspo.com, will be displayed on the Website. Earlier versions may be retained by the Operator for record-keeping and regulatory purposes.

Termination & Suspension

Termination by You

  • Account closure request: You may request closure of your account at any time by following the relevant instructions on the Website or by contacting customer support via the channels provided on bettingspo.com. Closure will be actioned within a reasonable period.
  • Withdrawal of funds: Subject to completion of any required verification checks and to any ongoing investigations, you may normally withdraw your Real Money Balance upon account closure, in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

Suspension and Termination by the Operator

  • Grounds for action: The Operator may suspend or close your account, withhold Bonuses and, where permitted by law, withhold or delay funds where: (a) required for regulatory or legal reasons; (b) there is suspicion of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, game manipulation or breach of these Terms; (c) you are self-excluded or registered with GAMSTOP; (d) you are underage or not resident in Great Britain; or (e) you have provided false or misleading information.
  • Responsible gambling measures: Accounts may be restricted, suspended or closed where there are concerns regarding your gambling behaviour, affordability or wellbeing. Such actions will be taken in line with the Operator's safer gambling policies and UKGC expectations.
  • Notification: Where legally permitted and reasonably practicable, the Operator will notify you of the reasons for suspension or closure and of any steps you may take to resolve outstanding issues. In some cases, legal or regulatory constraints may limit the information that can be provided.
  • Treatment of balances: On closure, any remaining Real Money Balance will normally be returned to you, subject to any right of the Operator to withhold amounts in accordance with these Terms and applicable law (for example, where funds are connected with fraud or AML concerns). Bonus Balances may be cancelled on closure, except where law or specific promotional terms require otherwise.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • Governing law: These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Services, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in the part of Great Britain in which you are resident.
  • Courts: Subject to the ADR arrangements set out below, the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms. Nothing prevents you from bringing proceedings in the courts of your place of residence in Great Britain where such right is provided by law.

The Operator will handle complaints in a fair, timely and transparent manner in accordance with its internal complaints procedure and UKGC requirements.
